As promised, I am thrilled to be sharing photos from last weekend’s maternity shoot with Matt and Tamara. Before the shoot, I wrote that Tamara was my freshmen Bible Study leader and that I had done the couple’s engagement shoot back in 2010.

Matt and Tamara were just as fun to photograph as I had remembered. We walked around  Bushnell Park in Hartford, avoiding the mounds of snows and hoards of UConn fans leaving the basketball game.

Tamara and I messaged back and forth before the shoot and came up with some fun ideas to make their pictures uniquely “them”. We decided to try to incorporate her ultrasound photos, the baby’s current nickname (“bean” : ) ), mustaches, and a pair of TOMs Matt had bought the baby for Christmas.

I loved photographing Matt and Tamara and CANNOT wait to do a newborn session once they’ve welcomed their little boy into the world!
