Yesterday, I got to photograph a couple that will be getting married in a couple of weeks. I’ll be photographing their wedding as well in collaboration with Amy Guerrette of Walker Studios LLC. Kristen and Elijah got engaged on Yale’s campus back in January. With that in mind, when they first got engaged, Kristen and I agreed that it’d be fun to do their engagement shoot around Yale too.

So, yesterday evening, we meandered around New Haven and had a great time talking, laughing, and getting some great pictures. Towards sunset, we started looking for the exact spot where Elijah proposed. It was a little bit of a hunt and Kristen and I got a few good laughs while watching him search…but he pulled through and found the spot. After hearing how he proposed I got some pretty pictures of them right where it all happened (those pictures can be found towards the end of this post).
