On June 20th, I had the privilege of volunteering as a photographer for the CT Green Building Council’s (CTGBC) Annual Awards Meeting held at Gateway Community College in New Haven. As their mission statement says, “The CTGBC is an efficiently run non-profit organization that seeks to improve the quality of life in Connecticut through the promotion of intelligently designed and constructed high performance energy efficient building.” As the awards were handed out and I as I talked to different council members throughout the evening, I learned so much and got to hear about some amazing projects that have been done all over the state. Congratulations to all who received awards! Thank you for allowing me to partake in such a wonderful event.
